Proper nutrition is important to keep the body and mind strong and healthy. Regular, nutritious meals may become a challenge for people as they grow older and those with chronic health conditions. The holiday season can result in additional stress and not eating right. Since any form of memory loss and dementia can be a challenging diagnosis, it is important to learn helpful tips to interacting with someone who has memory care needs. Everyone with memory care needs experiences the condition differently. The needs of each person also will change as their dementia progresses. Learn how therapy can help individuals with dementia and how to better engage your loved one with memory care needs.
